Urban design is more like city planning than city building. City planning involves the strategic organization and development of a city, including land use, transportation, and infrastructure. Urban design focuses on the physical layout and aesthetics of the city, such as building placement, public spaces, and streetscapes. While city building involves the actual construction of buildings and infrastructure, urban design is more about the overall vision and design principles that guide the development of a city. **

As of now, there is no modern city without poverty and with a central city population of over 10 million inhabitants. While some cities may have lower poverty rates than others, no city has completely eradicated poverty. Additionally, most cities with over 10 million inhabitants, such as Tokyo, New York City, and Shanghai, still have significant poverty and inequality within their populations. Efforts to address poverty and inequality continue to be a challenge for many large cities around the world. **

The city is urban. It is characterized by a high population density, extensive infrastructure, and a wide range of economic, social, and cultural activities. Urban areas are typically centers of commerce, industry, and government, and are known for their diverse and dynamic environments. **

Urban design is more closely related to city planning than urban development. City planning focuses on the organization and development of urban areas, including land use, infrastructure, and public spaces, which are all key components of urban design. Urban development, on the other hand, typically refers to the physical construction and economic growth within urban areas, which is influenced by urban design and city planning decisions. Therefore, while urban design is related to both city planning and urban development, it is more aligned with the principles and goals of city planning. **

It is difficult to pinpoint a single "most modern" city as many cities around the world are constantly evolving and adopting modern technologies and infrastructure. However, some cities known for their modernity include Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, and Seoul. These cities are known for their advanced transportation systems, sustainable architecture, cutting-edge technology, and overall high quality of life. **

It is subjective to determine which city looks more modern and attractive as it depends on individual preferences. However, some may argue that cities like Dubai or Singapore appear more modern and attractive due to their futuristic architecture, advanced infrastructure, and well-planned urban development. On the other hand, cities like Tokyo or New York may also be considered modern and attractive due to their iconic skyline, bustling city life, and cultural diversity. Ultimately, the perception of modernity and attractiveness varies from person to person. **

A modern city is characterized by its advanced infrastructure, including efficient public transportation systems, modern buildings, and high-speed internet connectivity. It is also known for its diverse and multicultural population, vibrant arts and cultural scene, and a strong emphasis on sustainability and green initiatives. Additionally, modern cities often have a strong economy, with a focus on technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Finally, modern cities prioritize quality of life for their residents, offering a wide range of amenities such as parks, recreational facilities, and access to healthcare and education. **

A modern city typically has a central business district surrounded by residential areas, with a network of roads and public transportation connecting them. Skyscrapers and high-rise buildings dominate the skyline, housing offices, apartments, and commercial spaces. The city also includes amenities such as parks, shopping centers, schools, and cultural institutions. Additionally, modern cities often have infrastructure for utilities like water, electricity, and waste management, as well as public services such as police and fire departments. **
